Fail.

“Moonlight Mile” and “100 Years Ago” both seem to have slipped your mind

Thanks for the effort!

All greats songs. I love that you included 'Neighbors', a song they probably forgot 10 minutes after they finished it.

I am in the middle of reading Bill Janovitz's book "Rocks Off: 50 Tracks That Tell the Story of the Rolling Stones". Can this possibly be a coincidence?

I went through about 50 yesterday. It was very hard, pretty impossible to widdle down to 10. Many times, mainstream rock radio did indeed get it right. Hang Fire should be there, and so should 'One Hit (To the Body) from Dirty Work, but I'm NOT removing Soul Survivor or Rip this Joint for the need for nasty grit of Exile. I read the wiki bio of that album yesterday too. Tax exiles. F'n bums on drugs. so they move to france and hire more bums on drugs to record and talk shit all day. Wyman waS LIVID.

But they did play 'Neighbors' when I saw them in 81'. It's one of those songs along with Motorhead records that made me want to drink beer as a 14 year old with my friends.

I would do a list for the Brian Jones period (which I'm definitely more partial to) and one for the Jimmy Miller/Mick Taylor era and maybe one for the subsequent records. A few comments, though. "Loving Cup" is one of my favorite Stones songs, probably my favorite Stones deep track.

One of my favorite films. So many great lines. "I flunked flank." "Mighty joint." "What part of Ethiopia are you from?" "125th Street." This led me down a YouTube rabbit hole with this incredible scene.

Monkey Man, Star Star, Can You Hear Me Knockin and Bitch would be at the top of my Stones top 10.

Is there a Stones live record that you prefer to the 1st Dolls LP?
