Would love to see this with Smalley and Shades Apart, but I already have a show this night.

I'd love to make it to this show. Ex Number Five are a personal favorite.

Great band. I saw them at the Melody once with Kiss It Goodbye in '97.

Did anyone here attend this?

I just heard back from a friend of mine via email who I hadn't heard from in awhile. Unfortunately the news was not good.

Apparently he was at this show and during the Agnostic Front set, a stage-diver landed on his neck and shoulders. He is now paralysed after having emergency surgery to remove 3 disks. The reason he hadn't emailed me back was he has just regained use of his hands/arms this week.

I am in total shock right now.

An update-it looks like there is hope for recovery, but it will be a hard climb for him. There is a benefit concert going on 5/20 for him, if anyone can spread the word via social media I would greatly appreciate it:

Jebus, that is awful. He seemed really positive in that link you provided, so I'm hoping his insurance will provide him with everything he needs.

I was pretty much a dick about it, but this is the type of thing that made me go in a huge rant about the Swiz show and stage diving.

Thanks Flex. As most of you probably know, insurance doesn't cover everything. Here is the gofund me page if anyone wants to help out a bit:

That's really terrible, but thanks for posting. I think you posted another article about this guy couple years ago when he was was arranging a local screening of Salad Days and some other stuff. Seemed like a really good dude.
