Crimpshrine Reissues

Crimpshrine Reissues

This would seem to be of interest to a lot of folks here - Crimpshrine is getting the deluxe vinyl reissue treatment from Numero Group.

Both of the LPs will be available on their own, but if you buy the box set you also get the "7 Song Demo + Berkeley Sampler"

The first two are pretty easy to find comps of harder to find stuff. Not sure they need to exist, but ok.

The demo is worth picking up, though.

The Demo LP is also available on its own:

The "sampler" includes rad East Bay stuff like Basic Radio (Lint and Matt's pre-OpIvy band) and Sweet Baby Jesus.

They claim to have less than 50 copies left of the box set. People do love coffee table editions of their high school memories.

I used to argue with Blake from JB about this band all the time. I hated Jeff's vocal. Plus he was somewhat of a jerk to me 2 specific times. Once at ABC no Rio and once at Gilman.

I ordered the boxset. Fuck it, why not. It's interesting though, I seemingly just keep buying the same records I've always had in different packaging... Oh sure, why not buy Siamese Dream AGAIN. It's cool double vinyl gate fold this time.Ha!

This kind of reissue irks me,it's the kind of thing where I would maybe like the demo 7" on it's own,but already maybe have all the other stuff and so don't want it again. No purchase from me.

(although,I'm pretty much stopped altogether anyway, but if I was buying....)

You can buy the demo LP on its own. See above.
