What do you guys think of the new songs? I dig them both but like "Home Is A Feeling" a bit more:

Damn. I thought this thread was going to be about your new car. Also, I like my Ride bouncier:

First single is great; like the perfect midway point between GBA and CoL.

I'd say that Home is a Feeling is more shoegazey than that, and Charm Assault sounds more like something from Tarantula.

Disclaimer: I've never heard Tarantula. I guess it's better than its reputation then? The song I was referring to is "Charm Assault." I need to check out "Home is a Feeling."

If you can stomach CoL, I would recommend Tarantula. It's no Nowhere or GBA, but it's an enjoyable rock record (less classic rock than CoL).

I tried CoL and didn't like it. I was expecting something along the lines of The Byrds, but it sounds like the Black Crowes or something.

Unfortunately Ride's Boston show is the same night at Iron Maiden (which I already have a ticket for). So I won't be attending, my friend is DJ'ing the after show too so I probably would have got to hang with the band again. Oh well.
