Never paid them much mind, but I loved the single they posted awhile back. Thanks for the reminder to check this out!

I remember you saying that you really dug The Manic Low album. I have to spend more time with that one, but I LOVED the last TSOL album from 2009 (which had a lot of pop leanings, keyboards, etc.) and this one is similar, but a mix of styles between that and their other, more punk-ish 2000s comeback records. The hooks are stellar.

Actually, it was a Joykiller record (THREE) that xxHunterxx turned me on to.

It's fantastic! Kinda like "Beneath he Shadows" for the 2000's. Bold new ground and yet still familiar. Excellent!

Thanks for the correction. I couldn't remember which of his other bands it was.

I wonder if they will have their keyboardist Greg come on the tour since his playing is featured on this one :?:

Really digging it, clearly need to revisit some of their recent output including the Joykiller stuff, but I thought I wasn't a fan of that band after a few brief listens. New album sounds very power-poppy/new wavey to my ears, and they like it.

I hope so. He always makes them better. He'll probably just do the CA dates if any, though.

Listening to it now, what a great album. Halfway thru and I am loving this. Last saw them open for FLAG at Irving Plaza (2013?) Are there tour dates yet?

New video. Even if you don't consider this song a punk song, it is super-catchy:
