Man I'd love to see those guys play. I love their second album far more than the first and I think it is one of the most criminally overlooked records ever.

Sadly any trips are not in the cards for me this year. Getting married and all the house construction/remodeling going on at my place now has more than bled me dry.

Just a quick note on this show from Thurs. The Proletariat were great. Played about 50 minutes. The singer came out for the encore and said they had no more songs to play. So the crowd voted for them to play "Options" again. They covered The Clash too. Packed house. Very energetic set.

Opening were The Pragmatics from Waltham, MA. The singer reminded me of Shawn Brown in places. Ancient Filth was next. I wish the singer from Ancient Filth had kept his shirt buttoned up during their set. :roll:

I got Soma Holiday-the reissue on CD, the vinyl version had not come in yet. Go see them if they play near you :!:
