Trying to figure out if I have a problem or not.

I don't like coffee.

what ounce cup are we talking? I drink about 32 ounces in the morning. And then I drink iced tea the rest of the day.

One double espresso per day.

I think my average is about 3. I usually stop at Starbucks on the way to work for a tall pike. Then I'll have a few small cups throughout the day at work.

One 14 oz cup on my way to work.

I just drink short espresso Italian coffee, about three/four a day.

I haven't had a cup of coffee since I was 17 years old. Coffee is disgusting.

Worse than orange soda.

None. I drink 6 - 8 mugs of green tea at work in the mornings though.

Ok cool. I'm not so bad then. I usually have two to three mugs a day. Like the usual coffee mug size.

Sunday-Wednesday, I have one cup coffee, and numerous cups of tea. Thursday-Saturday, I might have one cup of tea or nothing.

none, but i drink a lot of caffeine through other drinks. i should prolly switch to coffee as it is supposed to be a little healthier but i never got into the taste.

I wasn't a huge coffee drinker until I gave up diet coke.

I also have at least one cup in the morning and then on occasion espresso-laden drink like a latte or mocha in the early to mid afternoon if I can manage it.

three. black coffee with two sugars.

An iced coffee in the morning and a regular cup in the afternoon. Guessing somewhere around 28 oz total.

Today's espresso drink was a mid-morning iced latte from Earth Cup.

I grind my own beans. I'm out of MY FUCKING MIND!

I always grind my own beans, too. I don't ever buy pre-ground coffee and I keep it away from sun, in a sealed container, etc.

I was always a purist when it came to grinding my own, but as long as you go through your coffee in no more than a week and do the usual stuff (buy quality, air tight container, out of sunlight), buying ground coffee is fine. The key is how fast you go through it. If it takes you more than a week, grind your own.

I know that on the surface you are probably correct, but I still refuse to do it. What's kind of silly is that we don't have a fancy coffee maker of any sort, but I still say all of the above makes for better coffee. I prefer our home-made iced coffee, though, as it doesn't involve our coffeemaker, but rather just a funnel, several cannisters and grinding the beans and mixing them with water and letting it sit overnight (that's it!). And yeah, I only drink a cup in the morning since my wife doesn't drink coffee, so it would take me longer than a week to go through a normal-sized package like the ones we normally buy.

I ground my own beans for a few weeks, but could detect no appreciable difference in the flavor. Plus, it was kind of a pain in the ass. I do want to try one of those I-talian stovetop coffee pot things, though.

I grind my own and use a french press.
Its as easy as any other way of doing it...and cheaper in the long run.

As much as I love the Descendents, I have never been a coffee achiever. No amount of sugar or cream can mask the bad taste to me. I've tried it a few times but never liked it.

D'oh. Wow I really did need some bonus cups yesterday.

Depends on how busy I am. If I'm not busy I've been known to drink over six. If I'm busy I can go down to one.

For most of my life, I've drank soda (mostly mountain dew) almost solely for liquid nourishment. I'm amazed I have teeth left. For the last 6 or 7 months months I've been drinking more healthily, but only slightly. Unsweetened tea a lot.

Those Polar Ice seltzers are really good and they have a lot of good flavors. I've been trying to find the lemon ginger one but no luck.

This thread inspired me to drink a couple cups o coffee this morning. It was no joke at least 50% flavored creamer and sugar. It tasted good but nothing like coffee. I was actually a little sick afterwords.

During the work week, 2 diet Dew's every morning then water for the rest of the day.

Once in a great while I'll have one of those vanilla latte thingys.

I tried to only have one cup of coffee today but around 3pm I was at Wawa and couldn't resist.

I could drink coffee all day, but since I'm 70, I have to limit it to mornings, or I have trouble getting to sleep.

It doesn't really effect me like that, which I love and hate at the same time. If anything, when I drink too much coffee I feel almost "flu" like and tired. Happened to me yesterday actually.

Those Polar Ice seltzers are really good and they have a lot of good flavors. I've been trying to find the lemon ginger one but no luck.

I love water, drink a ton of it (kinda balances out the coffee consumption re: hyrdation) and don't like to put anything in it (not even lemon), but I absolutely can't stand seltzer!

I'm kind of the same way except for when I drink it really late at night (I almost never do that, though). Only then will it keep me up.
