Buzzcocks w/ or w/o Devoto

Spiral Scratch had some good tracks, but I'm going with the longer legacy of w/o Devoto on this one.

It's hard to say. Spiral Scratch is probably my fave but, like you said, it's four songs and they had plenty of highlights after that.

Too easy. W/o and besides, Devoto leaving led to Magazine, so there's that, too.

Speaking of Buzzcocks and Devoto, Domino are reissuing Spiral Scratch and Time's Up in various formats, including a lavish box set.

I'd love single 12" EP and Lp versions of each, respectively. I've got the former on CD.

spiral scratch is a slice of heaven. a perfect ep. and one of my ten favorite singles of all time. and i love magazine. but the first two buzzcocks albums are so fucking good, that i have to give the edge to post-devoto 'cocks.

Either way, the new box set on Domino is awesome:

I'm with Danny. Spiral Scratch is perfect, but the original run of post-Devoto LPs and singles is undeniable. If it's an either/or question, post-Devoto wins by sheer volume.
