What do you people actually DO all day long?

Don't any of you work for a living? I have a lot more important things to do with my day than bicker over stupid bullshit and argue about records.

Serious answer though... yes, I do have a job, a pretty good one in fact, that allows me to work from home and work at my own pace... as long as I get done what i need to by the deadlines I'm given, I'm all good. That said, including this post after I hit "Submit", I'll have made a grand total of 18 posts today, fully half of which were made before I clocked/logged in to my work email and Microsoft Teams at 9AM EST . Furthermore, several of my posts were simply stupid acronyms and emojis, which took maybe 15 seconds to post. In all, I think I've spent maybe 15 minutes, tops, reading and posting here today, interspersed between breaks in other work-related activities, etc. Tomorrow, i will probably be posting much more lightly, as i will be tied up in zoom meetings most of the day, so you'll all get a break from my raging torrent of witty repartee and sardonic asides. I hope that helps.

But seriously, me? I've probably got a LOT more important things to do than bicker on the internet, but nothing time-sensitive.
I sold my company and kinda retired youngish in 2016-7, so I've got all day to do whatever, whenever...
Usually, I'm traveling but lately because of this silly worldwide flu thing, I've been left doing more local/indoor activities (like wasting time posting on the interwebs.)
Schedule: I wake up around 1030-11a, go out to lunch somewhere (Thai, hike or bike a bit, grab a chai tea or mocha, swing by some web forums or do some online shopping, exercise a little, later do some guitar recording into Logic, maybe swing by a grocery store, dabble in some consulting every now and then, maybe bbq some ribeyes later in the evening, etc.

But I never argue about records. Personal taste is personal taste, and there's no accounting for it.

Except rap. That stuff's garbage.
