Bad timing? I like it, though I wish Ian would turn up his damn guitar.

I think most albums released during the pandemic (with little or no ability to play shows in support) are going to feel like they are being ignored, even if Ian is involved. As far being "shit on", I feel like it got mostly positive reviews at the time. Maybe some cranky old punk rockers who hate everything Ian has touched after the first Fugazi EP hated it, but...who cares?

I just listened. It’s good — kinda like a midpoint between Fugazi and the evens sound-wise.

I really like the Coriky album. But, where do you go see them? Coffee houses like The Evens? No way. Bowery Ballroom? 500 ppl standing around......standing quietly. I’d be downstairs at the bar in less than 20 minutes.

The same kind of places Fugazi played? I’ve seen them twice - their first show was at St. Stephen’s, a church with a pretty big hall that Fugazi and other punk bands have been playing since the late ‘80s. The second show was in the courtyard at my neighborhood library. They are definitely not as much of a “sit quietly” band as The Evens were, but aren’t as loud as Fugazi. If Ian pulled out his JCM800, I think it would improve their live sound immensely.

That's pretty much exactly it.

I like it. Hasn't been in constant rotation, but its very good.

A lot better than the shitty Evens.

Listened to the whole album today, it’s very good. Would see them live but it would have to be a small space
