I fuck with it.
Musically the verse sounds like kinda The Hold Steady/Titus Andronicus-ish, but more punchy, the backing vocal lines really flesh out the chorus.
I could totally see you guys opening for Clara Luciani if you play your cards correctly.

Didn't knew nothing about Titus Andronicus. Just checked'em and liked it a lot.
I don't know about your Clara Luciani comment. Maybe you like her, maybe it's a wisecrack at us, since we're feeling very far from her universe. Let's say that the other songs of the LP are more Dag related than Luciani's.

Haha, I just picked the most generic poppy French artist I could (thanks to google "Shitty French Pop Star 2021" search), I know nothing about her.
Yeah, I don't think you 'sound' like either of those bands (Titus singer sounds like Hot Water Music), but more the vibe of them? Poppy stuff with an edge. I'm more of a melodic punk guy so I don't know many other bands to reference. Maybe Tommy Keene-ish? I dunno. Obviously you sound like you, but you know...

I enjoyed this a lot. I was hooked by the electric 12 string in the intro, and the vocal melodies sound great throughout. Nice production, too. I look forward to hearing more!

A bancamp page is on it's way. Due to the pressing plant situation we won't have the record till December/January. Everything was sent mid August! Meh...
