What rockabilly artists would you recommend ( not “punk a billy”)

I don't know any other than that but I did go visit the outside of the International rockabilly hall of fame in Jackson, TN. If you are still in AR, it may be worth a visit but you will need to schedule an appointment for them to open it up for you.

Carl Perkins
Early Elvis
Also, personal favorites the Collins Kids. Larry Collins was a bad ass little kid who taught Dick Dale how to play guitar and (according to an article on Please Kill Me) recorded the first punk song in 1958 (not really buying that, but it rocks, for sure):
