Kicksarter is live today. Is Ian co-producing with Don Z? The pictures lean towards "yes"

And they need 14000 USD for this?

Rehearsal time: Making sure everyone knows what they're doing and how they're doing it. We have booked 9 days of rehearsal time right before we go into the studio.
Studio Time: Inner Ear plus Don Zientara for ten days. A normal day usually lasts about ten hours.
Transportation for everyone in the band
Supplies: drum heads, guitar strings, all that stuff

Can‘t even afford the guitar strings?

SamDBL might want to school me here.
Listening to Punk today is like listening to Glenn Miller in 1982.

I'm assuming the $14K includes manufacturing costs, not just studio costs.

Sure, it's on the high end for indie/punk rock. And it's pretty low end for everybody else. That said, I'm done with these funding campaigns unless it's someone I love who I feel really needs the help. They tend to go months, if not years, over schedule and leaves a bad taste in my mouth (Scott Reynolds? Ted Leo??). Just buy the record when it's (finally) available.
