I got that vinyl a few weeks ago and ripped an MP3 of Cortez. Decent song. Not one of their more memorable tracks, but still better than those frantic politically-charged EPs they put out in the past couple of years (but then they redeemed themselves with 9th and Walnut).

The song I'm curious about is "Ugly Cold" off the Small's Bar benefit comp: https://smallsbar.bandcamp.com/album/ke ... -after-all

I can't justify spending $40 for one song I really want (and maybe some others). I get the whole benefit thing, but I personally have no connection to Small's. Plus I think they'd raise more money if they sold songs individually. There's probably 40 of us alone on this board that are willing to spend $1 each to hear an unreleased Descendents song.

Lol. Sounds complicated! I'll just keep checking soulseek and youtube, hoping someone will post it eventually. Descendents are my all time faves, I hate knowing there's a song out there that hasn't reached my ears yet.

FYI - The Smalls Bar comp is now $20. Still a bit steep for me when I really just want to hear a couple of tracks. If it was vinyl or something tangible, sure I'd buy it. I still think they'd get better results if they gave the option to buy individual tracks for a few bucks each:
