NSBA: Slow Crush

NSBA: Slow Crush

Slow Crush is a Belgian shoegaze band who are pretty damn good, if you like that kinda thing. Their earlier stuff is a little heavier, with the vocals more forward. Think The Sundays covering Smashing Pumpkins. Their album is much more of a melange of MBV, Cocteau Twins, and Curve sounds, and the vocals are buried deeper in the mix. Both styles are pretty good, if those are influences that pique your interest.

The Mexicans do shoegaze just as well.

Car Crash Sisters 1st EP is blissful. But this is really good as well.

Love this band, live it is heavy, mesmerising and amazing. It took me a full year before I got the chance to catch them live, no with Covid, I hope I can see them again in 2022.

We re-released their last LP on our label Quiet Panic. The new LP coming out in a couple months is even better.

"Dizzy" made my best of 2017 mix.

Great band.
