It's true. In order to promote the upcoming discography "Many Miles Long" on Hellminded Records (No Escape, Shades Apart) we are playing some shows and who knows what else.

I will look into it. That is the weekend before my birthday. If I wasn't staying in Philly for 3-4 days at the end of this month for the Descendents show, it would be more of a possibility I would make October. Maybe I just need to buy a ticket and lock myself into the October show.

Really was hoping not to have to do this when we initially booked these shows, but if not everyone feels comfortable playing then it’s not worth playing at the moment. We are in the fortunate position where this is just about having fun for us, so we are able to make that choice. Anyway here’s the statement we put on socials and I’m sorry for the few who are disappointed.

Hello everyone,

After much deliberation we have decided to cancel our appearances this October at Ortlieb’s and SWB 2 Fest. This is not a decision we have taken lightly and we apologize to anyone who was excited to see us. Trust that we were just as excited to see you.

When we decided to do these shows several months ago, things were looking a lot differently than they are now so this is unfortunately the choice we have to make. We want to send an extra special thank you out to Patrick Troxell (Ortlieb’s), Tyler Kennedy (SWB 2 Fest) & Field Day. We are so grateful that we were asked to play these shows and share the stage with so many great bands. We hope we will have a chance to do so in the future.

Speaking of the future, we will have some more news soon. Also, 2022 will mark 20 years (!!) since we played our first show and released the demo so we are planning on celebrating. Until then…

Thanks, Hal. It's a bummer, but we're not doing the band for any reason other than to have fun and if anyone feels uncomfortable, it's a no brainer. We are planning to get back out there in 2022.

Have rescheduled tix from last year to see them on Saturday with proof of vax or negative COVID test within 24 hours + mandatory mask policy.
