They're being kinda coy about who's on this (for reasons I don't quite get), but this is a new poppy-punky project from Jonathan Cummins and Bondhead. Only two songs so far, but I dig it most!

Wow, killer shit. I didn't care for Bionic very much... was really abrasive/Jesus Lizard-y/Am Rep sounding as I remember, and I don't have a real strong affinity for that sort of thing. But this is great.

Picked up this current-ish single from Brock Pytel. Loved his Doughboys songs. His solo CD and this 7" are both pretty good. I like them better than anything the Doughboys did after he left.

These guys have posted 3 more songs, which makes this my favorite half-an-album this year. Seriously, these are even better than the first batch. Like Brit-Pop circa '94 crossed with the best of late '80s CRUZ records.
