But since you brought this up, for the first time ever, I heard a collaboration of Johnny Lydon and Afrika Bambaataa this morning.

You'd never heard "World Destruction" before? I'm a bit surprised, but yeah it surprisingly works. Classic. And check out Afrika Bambattaa (sp?)'s "Planet Rock" if you want to hear the direct connection between Kraftwerk (it samples "Trans-Europe Express") and all the rap, techno, house, etc. that came later.

I know the Beastie's song for ages. I never knew the Johnny/Afrikka track. And yes...the Beasties track is funny as all hell.
