Blu Ray / DVD about a month later, they said on FB.

Either USA or Mtv used to re-run those. I haven't really seen them since the early '80s, but I remember there being some good stuff. Probably not enough hardcore for me at the time, though.

It wasn't all arty farty y'know...

It was noted for showcasing rising punk and new wave acts, including Bad Religion, Fear, The Dead Kennedys, 45 Grave, The Angry Samoans and The Circle Jerks.

Some great footage. Also for great footage is Another State Of Mind. Obviously a national thing, but a lot of it is L.A.

Oh yeah, DESCENDENTS with Tony Lombardo last week in Chicago was very special. Tony was so nervous, but he did real well. Never thought I'd hear some of those songs live (ie, "Jean is Dead")! Very great show. Denver, you're getting a treat this weekend.

I did indeed have lunch at Cemitas Puebla with Milo, and met your sister. She was very polite when she came by to introduce herself. If she'd have done so sooner we'd have just moved tables together, as we are a chatty bunch. On a side not, that was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! I was craving it hours after we ate. That was one of 2 HUGE walks we did that day in search of food and coffee. We wound up missing the start of DIE ANTWOORD as we were walking back during their set. Great day for sure!

It's funny you guys brought up New Wave Theater. Amoeba had a couple DVD's in the clearance rack that I jumped on. The old VHS stuff is what got me into Punk Rock (along with Decline, Target Video and some other stuff)

I guess by popular demand the FILMAGE folks put the shirt with ALLROY filming Milo up on their store now. It's a cool one. BIG LA premier on the 29th with ALL playing!!!!! LA folks, get on out! I will be at the Pomona show but not the ALL one on the 29th. Can't miss that much work.
