Are these the same Black Keys?

version sound wrote:Picking discography releases and two-fers makes a mockery of the process. You know that. It’s not an honest list. Making a podcast is about generating content. Making a list like this is about making choices. Regardless of whether the Minor Threat discography CD is a “release,” in this context, do you really believe that “I’ll take everything ever recorded by Minor Threat” is making a valid choice for this kind of list? Let me answer that, the answer is 100% NO.

pedro wrote:Without too much thought, probably this...
Minor Threat - In My Eyes
Rites of Spring - Rites of Spring
Void - Void/Faith Split (I really mean just the Void side.)
Shudder to Think...- Ten Spot
Scream - This Side Up
Minor Threat - Minor Threat
Scream - Still Screaming
Beefeater - House Burning Down
Faith - Subject to Change
Beefeater - Plays for Lovers
Edit after seeing the Captain's post: If we are including the 1/2 Dischord, 1/2 Sammich stuff It Was Arson is in there somewhere. Personally, I have always considered it a Sammich record. This Side Up however has always been a Dischord record, even if it's half Rough Trade.

Some days it’s my #1.
As for partial releases, I tend to agree with pedro that they are usually more the release of the other label involved. If I was factoring in co-releases, I probably would have put SSD and United Mutation in at least the top 20 and picked Anger Means over Orafying Mysticle.

I see that thing used pretty regularly and pass every time. I’ve given it a shot a few times and it’s just a big NOPE for me.

Now I'm wondering if that's the only Dischord title never pressed on vinyl.

Pretty sure there are others, including one of the Joe Lally CDs.
