I'm a massive X fan, but I thought this thread was gonna be about the '80s/early '90s NYC band at first until I saw the post. I really like this version. It's very faithful to the original, but Violet's vocals are different enough from Exene's and the production crisp enough to make it more than just a copy. Thanks for posting it.

Me too. They were terrific live. I saw them at ABC NO RIO when Al and Amy were both doing lead vocals. ‘Extinction’ had just come out. They were tight and loud! Me and some girl I was dating got to sing with Amy during “Tech-no-logic-Kill”. Good times.

Same or The Way It is ("Fallout of Our Being"), though I think that was a different/much earlier lineup. I can't remember which one I heard first.

Honestly, I've always thought it's one of the best hardcore comps ever, particularly for the Lifesblood and Born Against tracks. Just straight fire.
