I guess it is the pandemic (or being really bored) but I find myself flipping over to ME TV to see what old shows may be on. Yesterday I figured why not-I haven't watched "The Love Boat" in probably 30 years.

So this one had Barbi Benton on (some of you old timers will remember her ) but the rest of the actors I didn't recognize. They run like 3 story lines in the hour episode. One of them went like this. A guy falls in love with a woman and at the end of the cruise he says "come live on my ranch and we will get married." She says "Ok yes." Oh wait did I forget to mention that the cruise is for 2 nights and 3 days total

Sure-this happens all the time in real life I wish that I had better things to do in eighth grade then watch shows like this-HA-HA

80s tv was entertainingly bad. My faves never stayed on air very long, though. Automan, manimal, werewolf, the pheonix, misfits of science, the master... all these shows gave me a total boner as a kid. But most of them lasted, like, half a season.

I like all the weird "forgotten" shows METV airs late on weekends - "The Invaders", "Time Tunnel" , "Land of the Giants", etc.

Love Boat is great though... I remember having a big crush on Vicki when I was a kid.

As a kid, I used to watch Love Boat followed by Fantasy Island.

I sometimes watch Hogan's Heroes on that same channel on weeknights.
