The original stuff with the Jabbers was cool.

That's about it.

Stop it Lewdd. I sent the cops to your house 2 x this year already. Don't make it have to be 3.

Someone finally unearthed the show I played guitar for GG. Not sure how much you can see of me as I'm in the left corner. I am wearing a white SUB POP 'Loser' T shirt.

There does exist another much better video but my friend Billy who took it has it on 8MM digital tape and its among TONS of shows he taped in the 80's. Trying for ages to get it transferred.

Wayne and Dennis from MC5 played on Gimme Some Head, Dead Or Alive, and Occupation BUT before the record was pressed, GG scrapped Dennis' drum tracks and overdubbed himself.

I never knew that those drum tracks were scrapped. "Gimme Some Head" is an absolute classic of sleazy punk and his best song besides "You Hate Me and I Hate You." "Don't Talk to Me" is another great one. Like most, I only care about the early stuff with the Jabbers, but I kinda liked his (brief? not super familiar with his later stuff) late '80s country period, too. I had the "Troubled Troubadour" flexi.

His antics and troubled life overshadowed his talent, unfortunately.

I just found that out recently when I was poking around on the band's website (which was set up by the label that just reissued a bunch of Jabbers material).
