Jeffrey Lee Pierce's pre-Gun Club ban d circa 1979 along with several members of The Last and others. It's really good. It's more explicitly power-pop than what he did later, but also reminds me of proto-punk stuff like the slower stuff on Radio Birdman's 1st Lp. If that sounds appealing to you or if you just like his stuff, you need to hear this. It's on Spotify. The 12" came out last month and it's already sold out, but there are copies on Discogs and maybe elsewhere.
