Dookie is an Amazing and original display of "Punk Rock" at it's best!!! The voice of a generation..I cant think of enough superlatives to describe this essential piece of vinyl..The Clash record is pale in comparison but " nice try"..Strummer is no Billy Joe.

LOL! HILARIOUS!

Dookie is a great album, though. And the second Clash album blows away the s/t.

haha Sam..Is and will always be my fav band!! Green Day yikes"! I'll take Rancid or the Swingin Utters for the retro sound from that time..But thats just me..

I love Green Day and I love the Clash. Like Danny said, there's room in the tent for both.
