This is quite disturbing as no one in the band** has any idea what this about (from Discogs):
** - well, me and Joe and Mickey have no clue.

That's how you know you've made it!

Who's Jeremy Dean? The artist?

I think that’s legit. I don’t remember anything about it other than that I’ve seen it before. I also feel obliged to note that the “official” Gerunds release makes no mention of me so I’m not included in the Gerunds’ BandToBand entry, which makes me sad.

This looks like something that got "distributed," right? And it was just you and Peter at this point? Let's get an estimated recording date and a year that it was sent out.

Yes - the legendary “First Three Songs, Plus Two” ep. Tracks 1, 2, 3, and 5 recorded in 2003. Track 4 recorded for — and rejected by — ESPN in approximately 2005. Released in 2009. Thanks, Mean!

Need more clarification on the title. The title you list doesn't seem to be on there. Was this really featuring Jeremy Dean or was that the title. We would probably default to the title of the first song if there was no cover, and the "featuring" was meant to indicate a guest musician.

I believe this is where the first Gerunds band got their start and one of the members had named his Daghouse handle after the place. It is a shame the place closed and that I never got to have a cheesesteak there with the band.

Alright, let’s go with “Featuring Jeremy Dean.” I think that was actually the title.

Yep! I was wondering if it was the same Jeremy Dean who designed so much killer stuff and now even does stuff for the Dead & Co. Love his work so much, had no idea he did stuff for you guys. That rules.

Oh yeah, I forgot he did so much of that Jade Tree stuff. He also made a Dead/Black Flag mash-up sticker you can see on my guitar at about the 6:39 mark here:

LMK if this image shows up on here or not. It shows up for me, but not sure if it shows up for everyone else. It is another CD-R that someone sent me in 2006.

Why hasn't someone from the band just made a bandcamp page and uploaded it all? I made a page for some local bands that played in college town I was in in early 90s and people actually download that shit and even though it's all free to download I've gotten over $50 over the years just from people happy to relisten to a band they saw in a shitty basement almost 30 years ago. You never know who might stumble across the page and become a fan or just enjoy the songs. PMA motherfuckers!

Yeah, Mickey set up a CDBaby Gerunds store last December, where you could purchase most of the Gerunds’ version 1.0 recordings. Not coincidentally, CDBaby got out of the music business three months later. If you PayPal me $100, I’ll hook you up with Mickey so youse can get your CDs.
