I wish I had kept some sort of log of all my shows, cuz I can only remember 3 but I feel like it was more. City Gardens, Lismar Lounge and Asbury Punk Rock Bowling.
Does anyone remember if I went to one of the Black Cat reunion shows? Sounds like something I would do, but all I can recall is the G.I. reunion.
UPDATE - yeah, I must have gone to one of those Black Cat shows cuz now I have a distinct memory of Cissy getting the mic from Shawn for sing-alongs from the pit, never got on stage.

W/GI '88 Lismar Lunge or The World. I don't remember. Dag weren't supposed to play but did or something like that?

Three times with Shawn- Punk Roxk Bowling, Crossroads NJ, Gramercy theater NYC

In between these shows BB came around with Bad Religion and then Fake Names.

I'm just glad I got to see them once.

There's a bunch of bands that I am grateful to have seen before they disappeared or went past prime, or whatever.

Saw Bad Brains only one time - but before H.R. got too weird and he was in full animal mode. Whew.

Saw the Bosstones only one time - but when they weren't old and still bouncing around like plaid pingpong balls all over the stage.

Saw Quicksand only one time - but at their peak and before the long breakup/hiatus.

Saw Dag Nasty in Sarasota with 7 Seconds with Field Day lineup (or at least Doug on bass, Peter singing). And Pete even snuck me a free tour t-shirt, which I will always recall as really kind/classy as heck move. The sound was ON that night, even if it doesn't come across in the old bootleg recording of it I put up on Youtube. I saw that tour when it rolled through Philly but we got Life Sentence instead of Dag Nasty. The show was way oversold, the AC was broken, and there was a really bad vibe — like a massive fight was going to break out — so we bailed after Dr. Know.

Oh yeah, this was not a time for posi-vibes in Sacto, overall. I doubt any band got through three songs without a fight breaking out. Nazis all over the place.
