I put this album on last night before bed and remembered how good it was.

I originally bought the LP in the mid-90s for around $5 or $6 after reading about it in a zine...there were distros at the time that stocked euro-import releases and they would usually end up heavily discounted because most American HC kids weren't into the stuff. A few years back, I found the CD.

They've got that semi-metallic punky thing going on in the guitars that sort of reminds me of Dag or maybe Verbal Assault, or a lighter version of of one of the better 80s thrash bands. Overall I guess this sort of sounds like a harder version of a post-Revolution Summer band, but very distinct overall.

The vocals are very good and use a mix of shouting and more melodic lines. The lyrics are all in Czech with some translations in the booklet. Even though I don't understand the lyrics it's all very catchy. From the liner notes, it says that many of the songs date back to the late '80s, but they held off recording them for awhile, and the LP originally came out in '93. There was also a follow up 7'' that I used to have that I remember being more mellow sounding than the LP.

I think this is a great album and way overlooked.
