I'm not sure if you and pilster made it inside the BB on Friday night, but either way, here you go.

My favorite is THIS IS THE SEA. And all-time favorite song: The whole of the Moon. A musician friend of my always thought Scott's voice reminded him of Stevie Knicks. I hear a lot of good Dylan in it. Heard the 9:30 gig was amazing.

I love In a Pagan Place and This Is The Sea. I also enjoy the first album and Fisherman's Blues. The first two really remind me of my senior year of high school.

Great post. I love that tune as well and always enjoy hearing them, though I don't know their stuff that well. I should pull out This is the Sea except that I have been listening to nothing but Lou Reed since last night.

Pretty much this. I lost the thread after Room to Roam but everything up to then was pretty special. Spent a lot of time living inside A Pagan Place and This is the Sea.
Alas, the Figgs didn't finish until about 10 minutes before the Waterboys were scheduled to start so we didn't try to hustle over the Bowery. But they seem to be coming over more frequently as of late. I'll try harder next time.

honestly I had a special feeling towards fisherman blues teh song, I discovered it in Ireland when the album went out and it was instant love.
also red army blues was a solid track I used to love a lot. But they did some other good songs indeed
