I don't know your personal circumstances, but there must be a number of beers between "zero" and "20+" that would be satisfactory for a single evening.

I've been dealing with water in the basement too. Thank god for the two bags of old punk rock tshirts I had in the garage that I have been using to soak up the water rather than have to keep a shop vac going 24/7. Even with that I still have not slept much the last two days. Wife and I have been sharing 6 hour shifts or close to that. Water is still running in but seems to be slowing down.
So far we only lost about 10x10 section of carpet padding which was from the prior two hurricanes in August. We've been able to keep the water from this hurricane contained on the concrete where we had already pulled up and thrown out padding from those other storms. We had 17 inches of rain in the last few weeks from those 3 hurricanes.
lewdd wrote:I believe the water may have finally stopped seeping in. The few towels I had put on the concrete yesterday were enough to soak up any water and no water leaked beyond them which is a great sign. There is some rain forecasted for a few hours today so hopefully that doesn't hit the spot where the leak may be.
I have not had any alcohol this weekend (yet). Went for my normal six month blood work yesterday and had the best results in years. Have my follow up doctor appointment this Friday. May have a few today or tomorrow will see how I feel.

Tomorrow I'm camping with the family out in the middle of bumblefuck, PA. This is with a bunch of families we were close with when we lived in Philly, but we don't see very much nowadays. These things can always get a little out of control. Lots of booze flowing. I tend to over indulge out of nervousness - I'm expected to entertain folks around the campfire with my singer/songwriter shtick. They're all very nice but being I'm never totally comfortable doing that stuff. Fingers crossed.

Great playlist. That was the 3rd song EC played when I saw him play in Port Chester last month. He likes to rearrange it each time. Anyway, clam pizza? Did you hit up Pepe's by chance?
