Stuff Dischord Should Issue/Reissue

Embrace - basement 4 track demo
Deadline - 8/2/82 on vinyl
Rain - complete recordings (pretty sure I had a different demo in the 80s)
Mission Impossible - complete recordings
Double O - complete recordings
Red C - demo(s) (there were 2, but the tapes for one were supposedly lost)
Second Wind - complete recordings (that ‘85 demo was killer)

definitely agree with double o and second wind. i mean, i agree with all of them, but those 2 are classics that seem like they should be in line for a reissue.

pretty sure i had mp3s of a rain demo with 4 songs, 1 of which wasn't on the 12".

i would also like a better recording of the 400 demo.

Insurrection demo
The 400 demo
Fugazi peel sessions
Fugazi in on the Kill Taker (Steve Albini recordings)
The boxset of the first 4 or 6 singles.

I’d buy all of those, especially the Insurrection demo, but someone claimed that the masters were destroyed. Even if that’s true, I bet Ian still has a copy.

Supposedly there are alternate versions of Instrument and one other song from Killtaker that are better than the LP versions.

Also, I've heard there is a ton of Lungfish outtakes, including Armageddon. I'd be cool with a new LP of outtakes every year.

The soundtrack to the SALAD DAYS doc has tracks by:
Mission Impossible
United Mutation
Kingface
Double-O......

and it's sold out so maybe there will be interest in these bands now and we'll get some reissues.....

A UM discography release has been in the works for years (not by Dischord). Hopefully, it’ll see the light of day eventually. I’d still love a stand-alone reissue of the first EP, though.

Happy Go Licky - studio recordings (I know they didn’t make any, but that’s Ian’s problem, not mine)

Rain and Happy go Licky were OUTSTANDING records. I had both

I though they were back in print.

Happy Go Licky was Guy at his BEST. I actually liked his vocals a lot. (I did not like Rites or his vox in Fugazi) Go ahead kill me.

Vile Cherubs Lp
Shudder to Think - Funeral at the Movies and Get Your Goat
Ignition - all of the individual

All are easy enough to find on Discogs, but it would made it easier to find/draw attention to these records, etc.

If we're including Sammich, then the Swiz discography. Apparently, Jade Tree had tests of it.

STT stuff is not that easy to find on vinyl. It all seems to be overseas, so even if you find a decent price, you have to factor in expensive shipping.

I think we are just waiting for Jason to finish the artwork.

Good point; I've had originals of Ten Spot (which I know got reissued on blue vinyl last year) and Funeral since the early '90s, so I haven't looked for those. It took me years to find Get Your Goat (I first owned it on cassette then CD before I found the vinyl) and I spent $20 maybe 5-6 years ago.

Since it was probably limited and I missed it initially:

Marginal Man 'Identity' on CD

Also:
Government Issue 'Boycott Stab Complete Session' on CD (tacking on the 1980 demo and Legless Bull)
Youth Brigade Discography CD (Demo, comp. tracks, 7")
S.O.A Discography CD (Demo, comp. tracks, 7")

Vile Cherubs Lp (quite possibly the most overlooked really good record in the entire Dischord catalog)
Gray Matter - Thog
Shudder to Think - 1st Lp on vinyl (they reissued it in the early '00s on CD and still sell it on the site)
Teen Idles, 1st GI, Youth Brigade, and S.O.A. 7"s (got em all on The Year in 7 Inches, but would be nice if they released the individual records)
Embrace - both demos
Swiz - all the individual records, especially Down, the s/t 12", and Hell Yes I Cheated (Sammich as I said earlier in this thread, sure, but adjacent ya know)
The Faith - Subject to Change on pink or blue and with the OG cover
Gray Matter - Take It Back on maroon
