This is mostly the effect of certain songs being vastly overplayed on the radio and in TV shows and movies over the last 40+ years. I am sick of these songs, but somehow still manage to enjoy them (most of the time).
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven (this is the all time No. 1 in this category) Black Sabbath - Iron Man Black Sabbath - Paranoid Jimi Hendrix Experience - Purple Haze Jimi Hendrix Experience - Foxy Lady Rolling Stones - Satisfaction Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine Guns N' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle The Police - Roxanne The Police- Don't Stand so Close to Me U2 - Where the Streets have no Names

The classic rock stations in my area never really played The Doors.
Floyd! How could I forget? I feel this way about a lot of DSOTM, but especially Money.

I enjoy all of these, but more in the contexts of the albums they appear on. "With or Without You" is a big one for me in this category.
