We played twice, summer of '87. There was an awesome band that played with us called Big Toe. The opening song was Blitzkrieg Bop with modified lyrics, "Hey Ho, Big Toe". Looking forward to seeing this doc. Also check out the book Salad Days by Charles Romalotti. It's fiction but based on the mid-'80's hardcore scene. Charles was a local at the Outhouse.

I loved it and hated it.
First time I was there was July 1991. I was a roadie for Lancaster PA's STAND UP. We opened for Nation of Ulysses.

The heat
The lack of AC in the club
The BUGS in the cornfield. FUCKING MOSQUITOS!!! DIE DIE DIE!
The filthy bathroom
No cold water
I got stranded there..... I got sick and fell asleep in my friend Ollie's car. And the van broke down and had to get towed. They didnt know where I was. THE NIGHTMARE. 1991. Cell phones weren't a thing yet.

2nd and 3rd time with Sleeper/Serpico
Much better. Fun! This time opening for Stand Up and someone else. 94?

Great place to see all of the top touring bands. My favorite show: DRI with The Boneless Ones.

I thought Dag Nasty also played there during Field Day tour. Could be wrong.
