Listened on Spotify last night. Sounded good. Waiting on the vinyl to show up in shops here for a proper listen.

Played it yesterday on Spotify via headphones. Total ripper; might even be better than the first album.

Who went to the show last night? Setlist? Reviews? Alec guest appearance for Surrogate (too predicable?)?

I like Red Hare a lot, but I suspect no one outside of the band members themselves care enough to track their setlists.

I didn't make it because I suck, but pedro did, and he reported that Alec sang "Surrogate" (as expected by some of you) AND "Aware," which makes me feel 10 times worse than I already did for missing it.

Confirmed - I'll be at the Philly show. Shuffled some things around, very stoked.

I will be at Coney Island Baby tonight. I will not be keeping track of the set list. They'll probably cover some classic H/C song that I won't recognize.

It looks I can't get tickets on Ticketweb now. I may try anyway. Anyone know if it's sold out or what the deal is?

Awesome show last night in Providence. Kudos to Hal for making the roadtrip and catching the SS set as well. Great to hang out again sir! Of course all the dudes in Red Hare were super cool and they rocked . Sweet Jesus was also a pleasant surprise. Picked up a Red Hare shirt since already had all their releases. Good times!

I asked them to cover "Wacky Tobacky" in NYC just for you. I'm pretty sure a large portion of the crowd didn't recognize "Aware".

I had a great time. Saw some old friends and all the bands delivered the rock.

Thanks for comments/reviews on the show. Wish I could have made it, I bet the mosh pit was smoking and just know that I would have kicked total righteous ass in it, if I wasn't stage diving feet first into posers faces!

Seriously though, they played Aware? Fuck me.

At first I spazzed when I saw Dinko's fake set list of Sweetbelly, Retisonic and Dag Songs, but Faith? Wow.

I enjoyed the set, but they were looser than I expected and seemed to being having sound issues on stage. Sound problems were a bummer as the band before them (Suicide Pact) sounded amazing (even if their songs weren't all that memorable).

Pilot to Gunner were going to dedicate their next album to my weathered boner, but along came Suicide Pact and it all went poof. So glad they sounded good. Sigh.

Philly show was great. No stage, DIY venue. Tight set. Love this band.

"MORE GUITAR!!" LOL...great to see you again edog! Always fun chatting with you. Looking forward to the Avengers show!

Yes, awesome show in Providence. So worth the 2-hr drive. Got to speak with Shawn Brown for a bit out on the sidewalk...coolest dude ever. Silver Screams totally ripped! See 'em if you can! Sweet Jesus was surprisingly good. Lots of 20-somethings for their set...and they mysteriously disappeared afterwards? Must have been no more the 25-30 people in the room for Red Hare. Shawn sang nearly the entire set from the pit. And they raged! Everything I hoped it would be.

Not my favorite venue partly for that reason, but I'm sure they rocked it.

I really need to visit his tattoo shop. Apparently, Maryland's best coffee is served in that building, too.

On repeated listens, this is gonna be a contender for LP of the year (Along with the new Superchunk)

I’ve listened to the new one a few times now.......I like it. Good songs, not too many great ones
I think the album starts to bleed together about halfway thru.

I wish I could’ve seen them live, maybe I’d get a little more stoked on the new record. Still, a quality band & im digging this resurgence of Shawn.
