Never went to one. When I was interested it was too far away and then later in life when I could easily go I was already too old, strange and slow. Pretty amazing they were able to keep it going for as long as they did, what with the kidz nowadays having the attention span of a fruit-fly and not wanting to pay to see music. It was always easy to make fun of the warped tour kidz, but I'm sure it was a lot of hard work.

Did rock-cock-n-roll SamDBL ever do a stint or was his time in DBL too late for the Epitaph phase of that tour?

I got free tix from somebody at work so I took my 9-year-old daughter last summer. It was cool. We saw Municipal Waste, the Adolescents, and War on Women. She dug the Waste.

Warped Tour was great, it served it's purpose and yes, quite sure Sam DBL was with them when I was there in '96. Have to check the photos, as DBL def did play, as I met Dave on the East Coast jaunt.

Yeah, I'd have gone if I had free tickets. Or a kid.

Their (WoW) drummer Evan Tanner (doing this without Googling so forgive me if I got his name wrong) was in the last lineup of GI. Their bassist is an old acquaintance from college/FB friend.

I went every year between 1997 and 2001 except for 2000 and all in Asbury Park, but not since.

I had fun the times I went (I think 3 in total), but last time was in 2003 so I doubt the farewell run will entice me again. Cool GI cover :!:
