Saw this goofy link of 10 venues you should check out music in before you die. I've only been to one. Only one I don't really care about is the one in Ireland, others seem historic/would be cool. Any of you globe trotting motherfuckers been to 3+?

That's a cool list. I've been to two.
MSG- too many times to count
Paradiso- I checked out a show there the one time I've been to Amsterdam. I don't even remember the names of the bands

Been to none of those.

Maybe we should come up with a more punk-centric list of our own.

0 for me. The only show I have seen overseas was in Ireland for The Frank and Walters in 2005 and it wasn't at that castle

I saw some bands at Red Rocks, which was kinda of cool for me because I vividly remember watching that old video of U2 playing "Sunday Bloody Sunday" there and thinking it looked like some medieval castle with fire and crazy shit going on. Turns out that even getting there was an awesome trip up winding roads and beautiful vistas etc. The bands I saw were just okay (Weezer, Sparta & Dashboard Confessional) but it was an awesome venue seeing the sun-set etc.

Oh and for pUnX venues...I have no clue what exists. I still would like to go to 924 Gilman Street. After that. Um. Uh. Are any of the old, old CA punk places (huge goldenvoice shows etc) still around? Going to a place that had hardcore history (80's) might be fun. I'd have liked to have gone to the shit/sweatbox CBGB's, I guess.
