Kuma's burgers and mac and cheese get my highest endorsement.

Putting cheese on a hamburger is disgusting, sacrilegious, and unamerican. I support the Kuma boycott.

It tasted great. Then, there was the smell.

It's not like Kuma's needs PR. There's a line out the door before they open each day.

I prefer the Sabbath and Maiden burgers.

Speaking of Sabbath, I need to tell you all the middle name our guitarist Niff gave his daughter:

Iommi.

Totally awesome

This is no dumber than the Reverend Terry Jones burning Qurans.

Of course, it isn't any smarter than burning Qurans either.

I haven't gone my last few trips to Chicago. The last time we went (me and several daghausers), we waited over 2 hours for a table. While I enjoy the burgers and mac and cheese very much, I don't think it's worth the wait.
My sister tells me there is rarely a wait at the 2nd location, but she also says it has none of the atmosphere of the orginal location. Since the 'atmosphere' is a huge part of the Kuma's experience I didn't see that point. She says the food is just as good.

I don't get there that often because I don't live in the city but I have had very good luck going after shows on a weeknight. That worked great when I was unemployed but now that I have to get up early in the mornings I haven't done that in quite some time now. That aside the food there is amazing. I haven't been to the second location yet.

This is pretty much where I am. As good as it was, it was still just a hamburger. I mean, jesus, it's ground beef on a roll, basically the same thing as a taco.

They make you eat it out back by the dumpsters and wear a hat with a big scarlet V on it.
