It is. So much better than the oral history that came out in 2007. Tough read at times, though.

Not a cleaned up version of any bootleg. An actual 24 track recording that has been sitting in a Warner Bros vault for 30 years.

Yes-I corrected that in the Mats thread, I was just saying that I'n sure the actual show had probably been out there before (maybe as an audience recording), I'm sure this will be better.

Both audience and soundboard recordings have floated around but they've promised this is much better than both.
I was a high school senior and begged my friend Steve to drive to this show (my folks wouldn't let me drive off of Staten Island at the time). We did not go and I lost my last chance to see Bob with them. When I first saw them a year later Slim was already in place.
