Yikes, the NYC venue looks like a potential disaster. I haven't seen them in too long, however. Looks like a "must attend" sorta thing.

That is a really odd booking (never heard of that club before; seems like a weird place for them to play), but I see them every year, so I'm sure I'll be at that or the show here at Underground Arts (where I saw them in both 2015 and 2016; both fabulous shows although my car got totaled during the 2015 show; thankfully I wasn't in it).

Stage 48 isn't a bad venue. It reminds me of a slightly smaller Irving Plaza. I've only seen a couple of metal shows there, but never had a problem with the place. Sound is solid.

It's all the way on west side in Hell's Kitchen.

Good to know. Sometimes when a venue doesn't hold regular rock shows the staff is clueless as to how things 'work'. If they host semi-regular metal shows they must have a clue.

They'll give you a good ol' fashioned pat-down when you walk in.....but once you're in, I don't recall them being too invasive....but, again, for me - small sample size....I've only seen German metal there.....Helloween once and the UDO/Accept show that came around earlier this year.
