This past Sunday I went to his book signing in Providence. He spoke for about 20 minutes, did a bit of Q+A and then signed the book and other items. I asked him how the experience of reuniting with The Cure in 2011 was for him looking back on it. He was very personable and entertaining. I plan to check out some of his post-Cure work (Presence, Levinhurst) in the future. Here are the pictures:

I haven't read the book yet, but it is in my stack along with Hunter's and Steve Jones bio.

I read the book last month. Well-written and entertaining. I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed listening to the entire Cure catalog again. I hope Robert does a book at some point. I'd like to hear his insight on the music and Lol's downward slide.

BTW...nice pics. Would it have killed him to smile?!

I was at the talk/reading/signing here in Philly last night and picked up the book. I've only gotten through the portion where he, Michael Dempsey and Robert Smith are teenagers in Crowley who formed what would become The Cure, but I can't wait to read the rest. It's really well-written and engaging so far.

Ok-I have a Cure related question maybe some hardcore fans can answer. I was watching 120 Minutes recently and the video for "A Night Like This" came up. It was version 2-which looks like it shows Roger O'Donnell on keyboards. Why were 2 versions made? Did they just want to have one without Lol in it at that point?
