The Connells

I was listening to One Simple Word and I see that they have a greatest hits out. So far this is the only thing that has been remastered. Any fans here?

That album & Ring were cool. Good indie rock that I would usually discover watching 120 minutes

I dig them. Their last album, Old School Dropouts, is made of the demos they did for TVT, recorded on a four-track (!) and half of them featuring Jon Wurster. Good record. And Doug's a cool guy.

Hopefully they will play out more. Last time I saw them was opening for the 'Mats on the All Shook Down tour

I also saw them open for the Replacements. I had been sorta ambivalent towards them until then, but they were pretty good live.
