2016: The year of death :(

I was always hoping one of the wrestling promotions I work for would bring Mr. Fuji out to one of the shows to do an appearance but sadly I'll never get to meet him now.

Gene Wilder did so many great movies but I will always be most fond of him as Willie Wonka.

That would've been cool. I just met Jimmy Hart at the fair last month.

Sad about Mr. Fiji, but Gene Wilder really hurts.

I will have to watch some of his ones I haven't watched in awhile like Silver Streak and Stir Crazy. Don't forget Hanky Panky :!:

RIP

I'd love to meet Jimmy Hart!

At the last Pro Wrestling Blitz show I worked (it was their annual "Wrestlefest" event) they brought in Vicki Guerrero (she was a sweetheart), Lita, Hornswaggle, The Sandman, Brooklyn Brawler, DDP (my third or fourth show working with him on it over the years), and my friend Nova/Simon Dean (we've been friends for like 14 years after working on a WWE video game together and he is the one that got me into the business 5 years ago).

Nice! I met DDP at a show a couple of years ago. First thing he said to me was, "Have you considered DDP yoga?" I would've loved to have met the Brooklyn Brawler. Steve Lombardi was one of my favourite jobbers from the 80's, next to Canada's greatest athlete "Iron" Mike Sharpe of course.

Yeah, Gene was a legend. I gotta bust out some of his old flicks again too. The only one I've seen a lot of in recent years was Willy Wonka.
