The re-issue came out on Grave Mistake yesterday. Did anyone here go to the Black Cat reunion show?

Nope-it's the band featuring your label-mate pal Kent from Scream :!:

The reissue sounds great--the red vinyl with red layout is very nice.

The Black Cat show was great! Excellent turnout--at least 1/2 full and everyone was very into them. The opener Blockhead a great thrashy punk band, and I didn't realize that the Free Children of Earth used to be Beasts of No Nation (whose 7" and first LP I loved)--they played a bunch of songs from their new LP right before The Suspects went on.

The Suspects basically played all of the first 7" and first CD with a couple tracks from their second CD. The band was very very tight and everyone had a great time. New addition T.J. nailed it on 2nd guitar. It was cool seeing a bunch of the Suspects kids (probably ranging from 8-13 year old) hanging by the side of the stage watching what their Dads use to do with some amazement. I grabbed a setlist on the way out:

The Suspects setlist:
1. Catfish
2. Uncle Sam
3. Swords of the Fallen
4. Land of Fortune
5. Mind Control
6. Grave Yard
7. Eads Street Punks
8. My Lie
9. From the Heart
10. Everyone's Dead [New Song]
11. Body Parts
12. Bondage
13. Emotional Blackmail [UK Subs]
14. Riot
15. Mommy
16. 99 Degrees
17. Blitz
18. Exit

They had a couple new shirts for sale, the new re-issue, some "Resurrection 2016" stickers, and some copies of the Capitol Radio CD, the 2nd Suspects CD, and a handful of the first 7" for sale from Chris' vault.

Definitely a reunion feel of people from that era--The Suspects were a really important band to a lot of people, so it was awesome to finally see a show.
