Beef Rib Cook

Had some burgers and dogs on the grill today. Imagining they were seasoned with Mean's tears made them all the more succulent.

Fun fact: that crying dude is not even Native American. I think he's Italian, like wrestler Cheif Jay Strongbow. I recently found that out from the documentary, "Reel Injun". Sorry to change the subject, carry on.

Looks still fucking tasty. Awesome!
Listening to Punk today is like listening to Glenn Miller in 1982.

In Lew's absence, I'm appointing myself supreme overlord and commander of the Daghouse grills. Part of today's America Day grill bounty:

Planked salmon with grainy mustard and maple syrup. I know that you've left us Lew (plus you don't eat salmon) but give it a shot!

I actually do respect vegans.... pretty much every vegan I know has their shit totally together, and is way more focused, disciplined, and organized than I could ever be. I think it kinda goes with the territory to some extent. That said, I think the posting of gory slaughterhouse pics to try and shame meat-eaters is just as effective as when pro-lifers confront pro-choicers with giant billboards of dismembered fetuses; i.e. not effective at all.

I think it's mostly about presenting yourself as superior, as opposed to actually trying to change someone's mind. Pretty much everything anyone says/does in the name of a cause on the internet these days is.

It's the same superiority complex I ran into with straight edge assholes in the 80's...it certainly didn't make me stop partying back then. But they felt good treating me like shit so I guess one of us benefited.

Now that's not fair - don't judge. It could just be hormones (from the meat).

I feel the urge to make a relish joke, but I think this thread is about beef and ribs, not frankfurters

I guess I don't know everybody's history with each other here. There is not this much hate in the Captivators show announcement threads!
