Argument Then War

Best song (for me for the day during the day), then D.R.I. played it! Was so good to see them after not going in like eight years. Comprehensive set, awesome

Always awesome seeing you & Matt.

Great show by D.R.I.....my only criticism is that they really DON'T leave you wanting more. They pretty much play everything, which is why I really don't need to see them everytime they come through.

But they were tight as balls!

That's about it! They still can't play in Canada, so I've gone down to see them twice in Seattle. Both times they've played pretty much everything I wanted to hear. I could care if I never see them again. Their new EP is finally out.

Great seeing you too, Jeff. Glad we decided to do FLAG and hang out again in a little over a week. But yeah that was a long set!!! But like I said I hadn't seen them in years, now thinking back, had to be 10 years or so. I went to the old Downtown in Farmingdale and hardly no one showed up, then the bassist Harald remembered me from when I interviewed Spike at Don Hills in 2003 or 04 and told me to come the next night to Knitting Factory and I did lol. So I was thinking somehow he'd remember me this time, 10, 11 years later but after the show he was like, um no. Ha omg kinda awkward lol. Whatever good time in any case

I love DRI so much. I'm even a fan of all the crossover stuff. My new band, Fuck It... I Quit! opened for them Thursday at the Gramercy in NYC. The show was super fun. We did a Government Issue cover in tribute to Stabb. I'll upload it if anyone is interested.

Which song?

My band (Too Many Voices) has been doing "Hall of Fame" recently in homage.

Last time I saw DRI I didn't think the way they mixed up the set worked. Maybe 2 short fast tunes then 2 crossover slower ones, all the way through. Just seemed like it had no momentum. I'd probably like it more if they did two sets. A fast one and a crossover one.
