I read they may trade Wheeler for the C for the Brewers.

Oh, and they should fire the hitting coach and the head coach before making any trades!

Thats the guy I want but I'm not sure Wheeler alone gets that deal done?...I think they could get a huge haul for Harvey( even with his recent struggles)..Harvey could probably yield Lucroy and some other pieces as well( maybe a 3 team deal )..No way the Mets keep all these arms and Harvey has A) had issues with the front office for years and B) has been linked to the Yankees for a while now...I dunno, A major move needs to be made and Harvey is the most logical to be the centerpiece of that deal..Maybe I'm wrong,I guess we'll see... :D

At least Granderson has not been hitting leadoff recently. Progress?

I think trading Harvey for a bat or two would be great. Don't get me wrong, I like Harvey, recent problems and all, but the Mets have no body hitting a for decent average. Home runs are great, but the Mets are among the last in runs.

Jumped the gun, as Grandy is hitting first tonight.

Yep, Even with all their starters in, I dont think that lineup can score enough to win a championship.Too many inconsistent hitters.Combine that with the better pitching they'll face in playoffs and that means trouble..A shakeup is needed..Moving Harvey could bring back some key pieces.

But of course we say all this and they are currently up 10-0 on the Pirates.
