It´s 90 minutes tape

A side
1. She Don´t Know Why I´m Here
2. It Had To Be You
3. Unreal Love
4. Another Side
5. Obsession
6. Assembly Line
7. Every Summer Day
8. Lighting Strikes
9. Anybody Else
10. So Quick To Say
11. Song/Unordinary Substance
12. Deaming
13. Someone´s Laughing
14. Jungle Book

B side
1. Wrong Turn
2. Take Care Of Her
3. No Love
4. I Saw Your Eyes
5. Sirens
6. Isn´t Anybody There?
7. I Know
8. Soldiers Of Love
9. Garden Grow
10. What´s In There
11. I Don´t Know What To Say
12. This Kind Of Feeling
13. Drywood Town
14. Failing Heart
15. Baby It´s You
16. I Don´t Wanna Be In Love
17. Up In The Air

I made the tape almost two years ago, so these days I would definitely change some songs, like I would ditch the covers and put Try To Rise and Make Believe (live version) instead and I would maybe change few more songs. I made the tape for a girl I was in love at the time and the funny thing is, even that we didn´t ended up together as a couple, we now live together and we are best friends, crazy, haha!

Iron Maiden - Book of Souls --------Nothing grabbed me until around the fifty minute mark. The songs aren't really there as far as I'm concerned. Will give it another go some time as it may be a grower. The new Motorhead is a lot better.

Carcass - Necrotism - A new discovery for me. I've never really delved into their back catalogue before Heartwork as I don't really care for grindcore. This was much more death metal than I was expecting. Excited to finally be seeing them in a few weeks.

Carcass - Swansong - Love the death 'n' roll thing.

Leatherface - Mush I've probably listened to this 91 album more times than Nevermind and unlike Nevermind, it has always been my own choice.

Leatherface - The Stormy Petrel ( I hope this is like Carcass's Swansong and they follow up what they've declared their last album some time in the future)

@JG

The early Rod stuff is really worth checking out IMHO. He got pretty bad after a few albums, and that's the stuff that most people under 50 or so are familiar with. IIRC some of the solo albums were recorded while he was still in the Faces. Also check out the first Jeff Beck Group album, Truth, as Rod provided vocals on that.

Rod's first 4 solo albums all are excellent. Some of the best rock/soul/folk ever made. The fact that he made the last 3 while also a full-time member of the Faces makes them even more remarkable. That said, I think the Faces only managed one really great record (A Nod is As Good...). In many ways they were the classic band who never came close to their live show in the studio.
Rod's post-Faces career is a very, VERY mixed bag although his voice has remained pretty damn solid of the years.

I'm listening to some Robert Johnson. I am considering going to see my mother in law in Mississippi for Thanksgiving and doing another blues tour of the Mississippi Delta area.

There is a pretty good website with a blues trail throughout the state - msbluestrail.org. I've been to some of the places, but it may be worthwhile to pass the time as there is nothing else to do down there. They have a pretty cool app too which you can build an itinerary of places to see and it will map it out for you.
