I just realized it's been a while since I tried to separate youse from your hard-earned ducats.

We're opening for the Supersuckers on Thursday at the Rock and Roll Hotel. It'll be the debut of Jim Spellman who, in addition to getting tased on television, briefly dating Winona Ryder, and playing drums on an RIAA-certified Gold Record, is an excellent guitarist and all-around cool dude. Youse should attend.

On 9/22, we open for San Francisco's Terry Malts, who are great. Youse should also attend this.

And, of course, our difficult third album -- Half Remembered Dream -- is available now from the finest retailers. Youse should totally buy it.

I'm impressed that you can read in a moving vehicle. I can't do it without getting sick unless it's on a plane and even then, sometimes I don't feel so great afterwards.

Is Jim just doing this as a one-off, or is Dot Dash expanding to a 3 guitar band a la Maiden or Skynyrd? :shock:

I wanted to ask you in person @ FLAG last night how the Supersuckers were, Hunter. I dig a few of their older stuff that my x-Betty Blue guitarist, Mississippi Dave turned me on to so how were they :?:

Did y'all know the girl Christian Slater dumped for Winona once they had a romance during the film? Twas Lisanne Falk (Peter's daughter) who played bitchy leader of the Heathers so Slater dumped her for Ryder during the making of the film-ouch.

But we are talking about the Queen of destroying bands & relationships. She destroyed Soul Asylum (once she hooked up with Pirner the music went to crap & they became "Music for kids on milk cartons". Is Jim now okay with the whole "dated Winona Ryder" thing because he wasn't thrilled that I outed him as someone who dumped Winona a few years back. I thought it was cool that he did so didn't think he'd mind me telling anyone about it. But hell, if I had the opportunity to date her back in the 90's on the Stabb tour (when I was in my 30's, horny, and not with anyone), I would've done it in a heartbeat.

And Danny, no way we let Hunter drive the Stabb Van. I wasn't driving because I still had no license but Hunter wasn't driving because ... well, he was Hunter Lyle Fisher on that tour. Think David "the Stud" Andler did all the driving.
