Anyone see them recently and are they still worth seeing live? Never seen 'em, and they're playing not too far away, so was wondering if they were worth checking out. Thanks for any recent reviews.

It's been a couple years (6 or 7) but I love the first LP, so I always go when they come around.

Last time I saw them was maybe 6 or 7 years ago and didn't think much of them,2 or 3 years before that they were great.
I also love the first record.

Doesn't particularly help though.

I guess a better question is what would you be doing if you didn't go? Usually if my answer is "nothing" then I'll go.

They came through Denver a few weeks ago. I was gonna go, but I got tired. I heard they were good, though.

I have not answered that question with "nothing" in quite a few years.

Hmmm... probably "nothing" (much), so I guess I'm gonna find out. Thanks for all your input. :)

Check out MXV's blog. I think he has a review of MDC from within the last 1-2 years.

i saw MDC about 3 or 4 months ago in orange county and they were great. played a lot of old stuff and they were very tight. the original guitar player played great. i would go see them. Dave sang great as well. Same sounding distorted guitar tone like all the early stuff.

Saw the MDC in 2003. and they were great then.
My friend saw them last year and said they were still great and they are still playing most of the first album which is cool.

They were solid at PRB in Vegas.
Dave went on a lengthy fxxx-filled rant on a guy who threw a beer on stage and it hit him.

Yes. Current drummer is a bit of a tickler but still solid.

Ha, thanks for answering my original query from May 2015, I did go and see them in Bristol and they were great. Will see them again at Rebellion, if their set time doesn't clash with anyone else I wanna check off my list. Still need to figure that all out. At the Bristol show some dude from the crowd headed to the front between songs and handed Dave a bag of weed. Never seen that done before, he seemed super thankful, ha-ha.
