I just saw that. Who does most of the songwriting? I like Julie Ocean, but I like Dot Dash better.

terry does all the song writing so far - and that won't change...though i'm sure that jim will add a few songs here and there. it should only get better moving forward.

Nothing against Bill, but this is the best news I've heard all day. I really like you guys a lot, but with Jim in the mix, I hope he'll write and sing more sings like in Julie Ocean and it'll be even better.

My current Dot & Dash top 3:
1) Winter Garden Light 2) Spark> Flame> Amber> Ash/Half-Remembered Dream (tie) 3) Long Gone and Nearly There

When I saw this result on Google, I actually thought "target has his own website?" for about 5 seconds before reality kicked in.
1) Winter Garden Light 2) Spark> Flame> Amber> Ash/Half-Remembered Dream (tie) 3) Long Gone and Nearly There
Next time Pedro schleps in from Brooklyn to lunch with us, I will explain Dot Dash to you.

I know them. Saw them.
Have a rough time with some of their material, but their live set is very good. They know what to play in front of people.

My vote would be your 3, 1 and 2 as 1, 2 and 3. I like the new one, too, but need to spend more time with it before a ranking can be assessed.

You crazy. Julie Ocean was good. Dot Dash is better.

I feel the exact opposite (though I'd say the last few DD records are at least "very good"). The JO record is one of my favorites of the last 5 years, though, or at least was one of my favorites of 2008 and I still jam it occasionally!

Next time you're in DC, make a lunch date with Hunter and ask him to explain the Hooters to you.

If Dot Dash and Julie Ocean were the Hooters, this would be Dot Dash: and this would be Julie Ocean:

"And We Danced" is a better song. I rest my case.

I'm a 38 year old heterosexual male. I don't need anyone to explain hooters to me.
